JEEP SAFARI

Step aboard one of our personalized open-top vehicles for a jungle jeep safari unlike any in Nepal. Explore the magical beauty of the Bardiya National Park with naturalists and enjoy the view of an elusive but graceful royal Bengal tiger and other wildlife from the comfort of your seat.

NATURE WALKS

Our guests have considered the nature walk to be one of the best activities in Bardiya National Park. Led by the camp naturalists, the walk offers a rare opportunity to observe wildlife, their habit and habitat. This is the only park where one could observe Bengal tiger while on nature walking.

BIRD WATCHING

Nepal is considered a bird watching sanctuary, with an astounding 887 species (Bird Census 2019) identified across the country and Bardiya National Park accommodates 527 species.  In the company of the Camp bird guide you have an opportunity of spotting lifers among the endemic species from grassland, farmland, forest and aquatic habitats.

FLOATING THROUGH THE PARK

Floating on rubber raft in tributary of Karnali River through the park is one of the best ways to observe wildlife. This floating trip starts at the spectacular Karnali Bridge, and finishes by the Elephant stables. There are swimming opportunities, and you should see a wide variety of the parks wildlife, hopefully including Gangetic dolphins. The tour also includes some short jungle walks and breaks at good wildlife viewing spots.

ELEPHANT BREEDING CENTRE VISIT

Gentle walk in the late afternoon with our guide through Tharu village is rewarding experience. The guide will introduce you to the local indigenous people and their way of life. The walk finishes with a visit to Elephant babies at the government elephant breeding centre.
